Art Educators of New Jersey

Presenting
In October 2024, I presented at the AENJ Kaleidoscope Conference alongside my former cooperating teacher, Lora Durr, and my partner from my junior practicum semester. Our presentation focused on the importance of a strong cooperating teacher-student teacher relationship, highlighting how this foundation can enhance professional growth and classroom effectiveness. This experience surrounded me with passionate educators and allowed us to share valuable insights into fostering successful mentorships in art education. Each moment at the conference reinforced my dedication to cultivating supportive and creative learning environments for young artists.
Volunteering
During the summer of 2023, I volunteered as a student and preservice teacher volunteer for the Northeastern conference of the National Art Education Association under the guidance of the esteemed art educator Lora Durr. I became immersed in a whirlwind of creativity and innovation, surrounded by other art educators, I embraced each day as an opportunity to learn, contribute, and inspire. This experience ignited a fervent dedication within me to continue fostering artistic expression and nurturing young minds in the pursuit of knowledge and creativity.
